Bug: Double click on send button sends two(or more) messages

I’m using Version 1.31.0 linux Mint 20 Cinnamon

let’s say I want to send a photo and I accidentally do a double click on the send button, in this case Delta chat sends the photo multiple times.

Expected behavior

no matter how many times I press the send button, it should send the message only one time.

Actual behavior

it sends the photo/sound/video multiple times

The bug doesn’t seem to affect all versions.
I can’t reproduce it on macOS (DC 1.31).

The bug does exist, I plan on rewriting the composer to also fix the lag, but haven’t came around to doing it yet.
