Error 104 connection error

Hello! Please help me solve this problem. My posteo provider. I tried to send a file weighing 100 megabytes. My ISP is missing 50, I just forgot that. After this an error occurred. I deleted my account and am trying to log in again. It gives this error

Posteo.de sends attachments < 50 and receives attachments <100 MB. Your tried to send a 100MB file. The file was too big. The file did not send. I understand this part.

Do you use Android? Desktop Linux? Windows?

I use Linux system Triskel. My email works by itself. I can send and receive letters. But I can’t enter delta chat and it gives an error. I clicked delete account in delta chat, hoping to try to log in again, but nothing happened.

I think you deleted your profile in Deltachat. You did not delete your Posteo account. Try making a new profile:

“+”>Create New Profile>Use Other Server>Classic E-mail Login

Fill in address and password. Press :check_mark:.

I don’t know why you still get a configuration error.

Did you delete your profile because it tried to resend the file many times? Maybe Posteo made a temporary block.

Maybe part of your profile remains in the Deltachat database?

Are you trying to send an e-mail to someone?

I guess you need to play around with the advanced settings to make sure it uses correct port, login name and so on. Or it is a bug.

each profile has its own database so this is not really possible.

Thanks, Simon, I wrongly assumed profile deletion (and creation?) would be synced between devices.

Posteo is on the e-mail providers list; it says Posteo does not require any special configuration.
