I understand that the location transfer service is in experimental mode, but I want to note that when transmitting coordinates, a notification comes as when receiving an empty message, I would like the coordinate transfer to be in the background, without notifications and sounds. Otherwise, it misleads the recipient every time.
what you describe sounds like a bug. can you provide more info? is this happening on android or iOS? which version of DC are you using?
@Simon, I didn’t have time to test on other operating systems, but I noticed this error on android, it constantly gives out sound.
I can approve that behavior.
Here is a screenshot of the notification area using the location service. The mobile phone is vibrating often, too. Apart from that the location service was very useful

This happens at the moment when an email is sent with updated coordinates for maps webxdc, and since it is sent to the chat, an arrival notification is triggered, but with empty information. I often use this feature. I had to create a separate chat with notifications turned off. This is most likely due to the fact that maps itself.xdc is integrated into DeltaChat and the data sent between applications is captured by DeltaChat itself.
