that should not happen, each mail to a group should be filed under the same group.
there are some known issues with
hotmail.com addresses that we are just about to fix - maybe this fits to your bug? if one of the group members is using
hotmail.com? otherwise, we would need some information so that we can reproduce the issue.
I’ve looked into this more, it seems that one of the group participants has sent replies which do not contain a valid reference. I am not sure where the reference comes from, it doesn’t seem to be anything to do with the group. It’s not hotmail or outlook. I don’t know if this is the cause of the problem, I will have to wait for more examples. It would be nice to override the behaviour though, perhaps by changing the group name.
