Problem with "media" option in choosing attachments

I’m using Version 1.31.0 linux Mint 20 Cinnamon

the attachment button has three options: video chat, files and media.
the “media” option does not show some of the files that are technically media. for example the MP3 files.

Expected behavior

showing all media files (sound,video picture and documents) in the media option.
