Option to change from “Prefered end to end encryption” to “Require end to end encryption” that way messages don’t get accidentally sent in clear text.

I think there’s “verified chats” which are being evolved into “protected chats” (albeit very slowly) which aim to achieve this. But this has been fairly hidden since forever as we’re still working out the desired semantics and there’s no particular funding initiative targetting it.

This also relates a bit to my feature request: Improve UX of unencrypted messages / show unencrypted icon on message which are unencrypted
