With edd25519 keys we could try to include the key but it would make scanning cumbersome and as invite link it would be pretty unwieldy. There also RSA keys where it wouldn’t work so it would not be consistently possible. And our general approach is that if we have to implement a fallback anyway, then we rather try to see if we can get away with only implementing the fallback.
