It’s impractical and changes the entire smartphone operation. The proposed setting shows no improvement.
There is no built-in “read aloud” functionality in Delta Chat, I am not sure if it is feasible to achieve it without third-party screen-reader tools. I am also not aware of other messenger apps implementing such a feature.
see herre under the whatsapp menu it is in german language when you get under more.
If you don’t want to use the built-in screenreader, there are third-party screenreader apps which may be configurable to meet your needs.
