Expected behavior
Accept QRcode invitations also from picture stored on the phone. e.g. If an invitation comes via email and the qrcode is stored from there to local storage on the phone, it should be “scanable” from there too - not only via camera.
Actual behavior
QRcode invitations can either be created or “scanned” via camera. But if someone sends the QRcode invitation via Mail (via mailclient on the phone), this can not directly be accepted. Currently it has to be transferred somewhere (e.g. to another phone) and afterwards “scanned” via camera from there.
My experience shows, that collegues simplified that and relinquished accepting the qrcode and works in delta-chat-groups as non approved members. imo this is not the idea of delta-chats security efforts.
