Add a refresh/check-mail button for other relays

i am a chinese user, the testrun mail server was banned by the gfw, so i use QQ mail as a relay now.

but here is a bug i found:

  1. Delta Chat Android is open in the foreground.
  2. The other users send a message to me.
  3. The message is already visible in the QQ mailbox.
  4. but Delta Chat app seems does not show the message.
  5. Restarting Delta Chat causes the message to appear.

it is not only happends on the android app,but also on my friends’ ipad, that is not cool, to fix the bug, a refresh botton on the chat interface is in need…

This is not supposed to happen, at least it doesn’t happen with Chatmail and many classic servers.

I don’t think this is the solution. We want things to work automatically.

Maybe QQ mail does not support IMAP IDLE extension? Check the log, if it talks about IMAP-fake-IDLE, then it is the case. Delta Chat then checks the mailbox once a minute.

i can’t find “IMAP-fake-IDLE” in the log. and this bug appears randomly, maybe qq mail supports pushmail, but deltachat app happens some errors. for instant messaging, 1minute is too looong, anyway, an update/refresh button is in need

anyway, when auto-work is error, a manual button is in need, right

BTW, if you use ArcaneChat you can turn off and on an account to force a refresh, similarly if you use Deltachat Desktop and switch accounts if you have the "Only synchronize selected account " option enabled.
