Add an option to keep the position on the map in the middle of the window when moving. This would be an easy function to use the map when moving.

Whose position would that be if multiple people are sharing theirs?

The own position. If you move, the own position on the map changes according to your movement. But moves out of the screen/window. Instead keeping it in the center of the window and the map moves like in naviation systems.

I would also like the map to have an auto-centering option. Currently, you have to manually zoom out far enough to find the shared markers and then zoom in yourself. In my opinion the most intuitive default behavior should be that when you open the map, the zoom and position is set to view all shared locations in the group.

I am interested in implementing this myself as a way to contribute to the project since I find Delta Chat so useful. Would this be a change made in a specific repo like deltachat-android or in a lower-level common library?
