After logging into delta via Autistici/Inventati mailbox, you cannot use the traditional mailbox's sending and receiving functions properly

As the title says, after logging into Delta, Autistici/Inventati can’t send or receive emails. Why is that? How should I set it correctly?

Since version 2.51 there is a dedicated setting to enforce encryption in relay settings, you need to disable it manually to send and receive unencrypted messages.

How to set it up

Go to Advanced → Relays, long-tap on the relay (on Android) to edit the settings, and look for the last setting in the list.

On Desktop it looks like this:

Have you clicked “Log in” to make sure the setting is stored?

There should be a “New email” option afterwards:

You need to click on the checkmark (accept button), not cancel the configuration, for the setting to apply.
