I just find out there are plans to make some virus-like system of relays propagation - client apps will make a list of relays they see used by other users and will use them to create relay accounts.
Also there is some new build-in relays list in not yet released Android app.
I am asking Delta Chat developers to reconsider this moves.
I am living in a “special” country. Here DC relays from “default” list are blocked by authorities alrady. Some popular relays are also blocked one by one.
It may be my mistake, but seems all or mostly all of you are liwing where internet access is not restricted in any way. You probably can"t understand how it should be done. Maybe, if you have soe free tie, read or watch something reality-based on resistance organisation in any country, in any historic period. The common idea you will find everywhere - all you say to “all the good people” will be heared and used by the enemy.
Every step you take to mass-distribute list of not blocked yet relays will just bring the authorities the easy way to collect them all in a one single move. Yes, it"s good to have some relay distribution process, but not wide-spread “everything for all”.
There are similar concerns voiced by other users on this forum already, i just not have a time right now to ind the links.
