is it possible to make a backup of the configuration only and restore it on another device? I know only the possibility to make a backup of the configuration including messages (in my case more than 2GB) but I only want to transfer the configuration quickly to another device.
No. The backup currently works by copying the database, so it is impossible to exclude any part of it.
You can export your keys separately, though. But sending an Autocrypt message is probably an easier way to synchronize the key with a new device.
Isnt there any configuration folder, that I can copy to a new device? I have root, so I should be able to access all files.
If not I would appreciate this function to be implemented in the future! I always have trouble with the complete backup (full disk, etc. …)
Configuration is stored in SQLite database, config table.
