Can't send messages in broadcast list after adding a user, it says E2E encryption is missing

Delta Chat version

1.50.1 (git: v1.33.0-1248-gc04da97a)

Expected behavior

I can add a Delta Chat user to a broadcast list without problems, especially I the user and I are both active in another group chat.

Actual behavior

After adding the user, I can’t send a message, and Delta Chat complains:

:warning: nine.testrun.org requires end-to-end encryption which is not setup for this chat yet. Tap to learn more.

Steps to reproduce the problem

It happened just once, and I’m not sure yet whether this is reproducible, but I thought I would report it anyway.

  1. Add to a broadcast list a user already active in a common group chat. Maybe important, the user and I haven’t had any 1:1 chat yet, just the group chat.
  2. Send a message to the broadcast list.

broadcast list are unencrypted and hence don’t work with chatmail, this is a highly experimental feature that will have some heavy changes this year likely, and be properly implemented with encryption then it could be really used (also should be renamed to “channel” and allow you to set channel image that others can see and invite link to allow people to join your channel)
