I am in the unenviable position of having authenticated to mailo.com in DeltaChat but unable to login to their Web or LibreMail. It is not mistyped. It is notepad copy pasted. No trailing spaces. That is out of scope for DC.

However, had there been a password change facility in app it might have helped here

But also it is simply good security to change one’s own password every 3 months or so. A less cumbersome option could encourage the behavior

Additional feature could prompt user into this good habit.

It is possible to change the password in DeltaChat Android

  • Click on Menu > “Settings”
  • Click on <account name>
  • Click on “Password and account”

BTW, that is possible on Desktop, too.
