In the Android app, is it not possible to increase the font size?
(it’s currently too small to read properly.)
Note that I do not want to change the font size of my entire OS…as this is fine as it is.

yeah, delta chat derives its font sizes from the OS font size since quite some time.
some background: we switched to supporting system font size 2 years ago, and we will likely not go back. esp. as since then the amount of system supporting that was grown, and support got even better.

delta chat should use the same font size as elsewhere in the OS. if this is not the case, there might be a bug.
otherwise things are on purpose, and sure, there is this feature proposal

Correct, not a bug.
hopefully the ability to customize / override the font size of Delta Chat will be added to the roadmap…
