It’s not a request for any client changes but while I was writing in another topic I came up with this idea.
I’d like there’s an official broadcast list of new versions of DC, alerts of new posts in the blog and forum summary.
I know it’s not really necessary, but it would be an interesting way to testing constantly the lists and in any way the channel would definitely be useful and would enjoy a mythical aura of “the official DC channel on DC.”
I don’t know if anyone wanted to do it, maybe would be enough a bot that takes this information from internet like an rss feed aggregator and then sends them to the broadcast list.
You can’t create invite link to broadcast channel yet. But you can create link for bot.

But it only answer user’s request with HTML containing build statuses.
I personally would prefer bot which will send plain text messages on new releases, ideally only for selected platforms.
