Is it possible to make Delta Chat delete it’s e-mails in the inbox on the server after it receives the messages? The messages in Delta Chat should stay. But the e-mails which contain those messages should get deleted after receiving. Because I don’t need those service e-mails. There are more of those e-mails lingering there than total messages even. I use only one Delta Chat client. So there is no need to keep them.
If you use a chatmail account, incoming messages will be purged after about 14 days by your server.
If you only use a chatmail account with a single device, Delta Chat is supposed to delete all messages from the server after reception. If you used the backup feature in the past, this toggle might have switched, you can disable multi-device mode under advanced settings.
