Different message font sizes

As suggested by @r10s in Message font size setting not applied to some text fields · Issue #3290 · deltachat/deltachat-android · GitHub , I would like to continue the discussion here about what I think might be a bug in regard to the font size for WebXDC message blobs, e.g. this one:

It is not quite clear to me why this font size shall be smaller than the one used in “common” messages, as I consider all message blobs to be treated equally.

Maybe we should scratch the whole function to adjust any font size in Delta Chat, and apply whatever the user has set in Android settings. My girlfriend’s eyesight does not distinguish between different apps either…

actually, this happens. “user entered message text” is enlarged in webxdc as well:

what is not enlarged are meta information, date, time, names, UI in general. if you want to have that enlarged equally, as mentioned at #3290, there are the corresponding accessibility settings in the system.

maybe webxdc apps are a corner case wrt font size, but i find the current approach reasonable. let’s see :slight_smile:
