E-mails from Protonmail

I’ve been using DC most of all with my regular e-mail address. For me DC has been an e-mail client (95%).
I don’t receive encrypted (with my public gpg key) e-mails from @protonmail.
I need to use other clients to realise that there are encrypted e-mails from @protonmail on my account.

Did you try to search the forum for possible answer?

Which version of DC do you run? Do you have the setting “Advanced” → “Show Classic E-Mails” set to “All”?

Can you try to create a Proton Mail account and send a message to yourself, is it not received in DC as well? If it is not received, what does the log say and is it delivered to the Inbox or some other folder?

Yes

Encrypted e-mails sent from Protonmail are in the inbox and I see them in different e-mail clients. I don’t see them in DC.

This may be irrelevant, but what platform are you running on (e.g. Android)? Where did you install from?

Can you find the logfile in the settings? Does it say anything when it should receive a Protonmail email? It would be very helpful if it did.

Android
It’s not only Protonmail. DC doesn’t show regular encrypted e-mails. There is no information that in Inbox is encrypted e-mail.

Do unencrypted emails appear in Delta Chat?

yes

There is a change feat: Don't ignore receive_imf_inner() errors, try adding partially downloaded message instead (#7196) by iequidoo · Pull Request #7222 · chatmail/core · GitHub that will be in 2.16 releases.
If the problem is that there is an error processing the message, it will show up now.
