Emoji selector improvements

Suggested improvements for the emoji experience:

  • Make it possible to search for emojis by name/description
  • Make it possible to view the name/description for any emoji, to avoid misinterpretation of the meaning and to make it easy to search for
  • Include an “ascii art” category in the emoji selector

  • you can search for emoji by name, but only in English it seems
  • this also seems to be there already, just leave the mouse over the emoji for a while
  • I had said this as a joke a while ago, however, if there will be this feature it would be funny.

@Simon Android. Maybe it’s different on the different platforms. On Android I have not noticed the features which @y-ZZ-a says are already present in the app (search emoji by name and see the emoji description).

I was actually going to use one of the ascii art emojis recently, couldn’t find it, then remembered it was on a different platform where I saw it offered. It can be especially useful for the more complex emoji art emojis. The basic ones can easily be done manually.

yes I was referring to the desktop edition, I always have the idea that PCs are the preferred clients forgetting that the user base of phones is huge
