Everything is being deployed, but I’m getting this error, and I don’t think it’s critical. Thanks!
i really don’t like that unnecessary echobot deployment together with the chatmail server, I have removed it from arcanechat.me relay deployment
Friends, can you tell me the command to update the chatmail server using cmdeploy? I didn’t find anything about updates in the scripts/cmdeploy run -h parameter. Do you have any ideas?
You need to git pull on your local machine to update the relay source code, and after that cmdeploy run to update the server. Make sure you review the changelog for any changes that need action from you.
You’ll have to excuse me, but it’s impossible to use this product in production: scripts/cmdeploy test freezes at 92%, and there’s no way to fully upgrade the server to the latest version. Either I’m misunderstanding something, or the project is in dire need of improvement.
Could you paste the full log so we understand where you get stuck?
I run git pull on my local computer to update the relay source code.
After that, I run scripts/cmdeploy run to update the server. I got the following error:
scripts/cmdeploy run --disable-mail gives the same error
Are you still unable to get the relay working? Just to be sure, are you on the main branch in git? I see you have another branch when you pull.
I was only able to get the relay to work after a complete reinstallation.
That’s great, even though it was difficult for you. Just for others who might find in the same situation, did you reinstall just the relay or the entire server and its operating system?
Reinstalled the server and the relay
