Expected behavior

It would be nice, if Delta Chat could support Exchange-Servers. I want to use it for work, but my employer doesn’t want to add IMAP-Support to the Exchange-Servers due to too many hacker attacks, they have had in the past with Pop3. This is why it would be nice to have Exchange-Support, so that I can still use Delta Chat for work.

Actual behavior

Delta Chat only supports IMAP.

exchange mapi protocol is licensed.
licensed=client side pay it license costs to microsoft.
client side=app, software etc…

I tried to use DC in combination with Davmail for office365/exchange. It works (sometimes/partially), but not very reliable. One of the main issues is that Microsoft butchers the email headers, i.e. removes the “Chat Version” header.
