Forum account e-mails not received

(previously posted in the “Welcome” thread, which was not a good place)

I’m afraid I’m having login problems. I changed my password, and now it doesn’t work, but more problematically, I don’t seem to be getting password reset emails or sign-in-via-link emails. The top bar goes green and it tells me that if it has a user with that email address I’ll get an e-mail shortly, or that it does have an account called “Minim” and I should get an e-mail shortly, but no email arrives

I signed up for a new account, using the same email address, and got the signup e-mail for that right away. The new account (this one) seems to work fine. It would be nice to find out what went wrong with my old one, but I can just keep using this account if it’s easier for the forum maintainers.

It is possible that this is a problem with my email provider, but that seems not too likely.

I don’t know why, but I couldn’t find your email address in the logs, so no delivery was attempted. I triggered an email with a login link to the email address of “Minim”, that should have worked now, did you receive it?

Thank you! That has worked perfectly.

I forgot my password and had been logging in with links, and then I changed my password, and neither login method worked. I haven’t managed to log in using a password on my new account either. But it all works now!
