Expected behavior

Using the function of @ mentioning a member in the group to remind separately, this not only disturbs other members of the group by irrelevant messages, but also improves the targeted transmission of messages and promotes the efficiency of communication and related experience. In addition, you can also add the function of using @ to mention everyone in the group. When the group is set to mute and do not disturb, it can achieve the effect of group announcement.

Actual behavior

There is only a setting of muting at a specific time in the group message notification setting function, and once muted, you will not receive any messages, unless someone else deliberately finds a message you have sent to respond or reply.

Perhaps I misunderstand. I think you want priority messages which override a “mute” setting. This implies two levels of mute settings:

  1. Mute everything except priority messages
  2. Really mute everything
