Ever since 2.35, maybe even 2.34, my deltachat clients (linux, android) have been showing messages “out of order”.
They often don’t agree with each other. When it happens, one will be correct and the other will be wrong.
In a few instances, the desktop client missed a message entirely.
I created a new group chat on android, and now there are two instances of that group on my desktop (one is empty, without members).
I use fastmail as a backend. My most active friend group has three total users: me and two on chatmail servers.
Perhaps related: the desktop client (debian x64, using deb release of delta) is often in sleep mode. When I wake it up, I need to quit deltachat and restart it for it to begin updating messages.
In previous versions, everything was fine.

Since I haven’t addressed this yet, many deltachat messages are in my inbox, and I wonder if this has exposed a race condition in the logic where clients search through IMAP folders.
