How to receive very simple notification mails with Delta Chat nowadays?

Since the change that Delta Chat messages are not in the “DeltaChat” folder anymore my very simple setup for receiving notification mails from a monitoring system doesn’t work anymore. Before all the hassle that seems to be needed now, it worked flawlessly. If a message was sent from the monitoring system, it got the “chat-version” header added and the receiving mail-server moved the message into the deltachat folder. no more magic needed and I knew what was going on, on my lab-servers, etc.

So now I created a new mail-account extra for that stuff, notifications are landing in the inbox, but on the deltachat client on my phone nothing is happening. But I see the mails in the inbox via my mailserver’s webui solutions.

What magic do I need now, that my monitoring system can send simple ASCII mails to that email-address and that they are shown in the Delta Chat app on my phone??? The chat-version header only is clearly not enough anymore :frowning:

Please can anyone give me a hint? The notifcation mails, etc. do not need to be encrypted or so. Thanks in advance.

You’ll need to disable the “Enforce Encryption” toggle buried in “Settings” → “Advanced” → “Relays” → “Edit Relay”

Thank you very much :person_bowing: , finally it’s working again.

Btw. something completely different, wasn’t there an option too in the DeltaChat app to view a received message as normal mail. That was sometimes quite useful.
