Incoming unecrypted SCAM shown in Saved Messages with DC 2.22

Hi,

yesterday i received a scam mail on 2 (of 3) DC clients.

desktop 1: Ubuntu, DC version 2.xx
Android: DC 2.22

NOT received on
desktop 2: Debian 13, DC 2.22

it was a spooved email with my address so DC though it was a Saved Message. but to my surprise DC clients still show unencrypted messages without notifying the user??

this is an unexpected an dangerous behaviour!

hi, that is a bug!!! good find!!! unencrypted messages should not appear in Saved messages chat that is supposed to be warrantied to be always end-to-end encrypted

There is an envelope icon at the bottom in your second screenshot and it does not say “encrypted” in the third screenshot.

It should probably be more visible, but otherwise this is how it always worked except that previously instead of envelope icon there was a padlock for encrypted messages and no padlock for unencrypted.
