On an iPad with a keyboard, press enter to send the message, just like iMessage.
Press control+enter to return to the next line.## Expected behavior
Pressing Enter will directly return to the next line. You cannot send messages directly and must click the screen manually.

On iOS it would be appreciated as well! I’m using the Clicks keyboard, which is a physical keyboard for iPhones, and I really do miss Enter to send or Shift/Ctrl+Enter to send in Delta Chat.
yeah, makes sense and was already discussed at Send on Ctrl+Enter - #9 by r10s - but just not done yet 
(for the defaults, however, we should take previous, widely shared discussions and android/desktop behaviour into account)
I mean, I’m fine with it not being default, but an option to enable it would be nice. 
It’s a pity that after years the Send on Ctrl+Enter or Send on Enter (as an option) are still not available on iOS
