I suggest adding a label to apps in the xstore which use P2P realtime chat so that users who want to avoid this or who have realtime chat disabled can easily identify which apps will or won’t work for them and not waste time into apps which do use realtme chat.
Expected behavior
Apps which use P2P realtime chat are clearly labeled in the xstore
Actual behavior
Impossible to dinstinguish between apps which do or don’t use P2P realtime chat in the xstore
True. You could have one label to indicate that realtime chat is needed and another to indicate that it is optional, and no label to indicate that realtime chat is not used at all.
notice that just having a good app description mentioning the use or need of the feature then you can simply search for “realtime” and see what apps use or depend on it
However it seems to me that many apps do not clearly mention this. I agree, it would be nice if all the apps have a good description but this isn’t always true.
Also I think searching for “realtime” and trying to remember which apps do or don’t show up in the search is not very efficient, but maybe if the xstore will include a filter option to filter for realtime apps, this would be much more efficient.
