Oh I was writing a draft about this and now I found this post. As DeltaChat is spread in Iran, I am feeling the same need. Most tech savvy users are quite fine with English. However, common people are not. So I would say this feature, along with other localizations of WebXDC has very high impact.
The other thing needed is also localization of the WebXDC app store. The UI doesn’t have much to localize, but a feature to have app descriptions in multiple languages is needed.
