Expected behavior
Have DC for iOS be available to install on Apple Silicon Macs.
Actual behavior
DC is only available as an Electron app, and the App Store for DeltaChat iOS doesn’t allow to install the app on an Apple Silicon Mac.
Reasoning
For VoiceOver users, which are people who are blind or severely visually impaired, DeltaChat for iOS gives a much better user experience than the Electron desktop app on MacOS. The reason is bugs in Chromium and generally a much less consistent behavioural pattern for web apps that try to be desktop apps. The iOS version running on the Mac would give users a more consistent Mac-like feel and be more accessible.
