5 weeks is a little odd, would’ve expected 1 month, but sure, why not, but why nothing between 5 weeks and a year? Seems like one would expect quarterly and semi-annual options.
Semi-annual, quarterly, and cross-quarterly are all natural divisions of time in some cultures but not others. The same could be said of seven-day weeks.
The options have been expanded on request in the past. I think adding a “Delete after ___ days” textbox would satisfy almost everyone and might be preferable to adding more and more discrete options.
Certainly this is a feature request; it requests a prgramming change and not usage info.
In my experience one day, one week, one month, three months (quarter), six months(semi) and finally one year are rather standard in time scheduling, plus it just seems like a really large spread between 5 weeks and a year, you’d think there’d be at least one more in there.
Huh, interesting, though I don’t think that option makes sense here as those are fixed special dates rather than time periods if’n I’m understanding that, though I will admit to glossing over it.
I agree. It’s nice there is now a 1 year option, but it does feel like there is something missing between 5 weeks and 1 year as that is a very large time gap. It would be very nice to have an option in the range of 3 to 6 months! Now that the 1 minute and 30 minute options have been removed, there should be more than enough screen space for an option of 3 months or 6 months (or both) or at least something in that range!
