We are attempting to move our friend group chat from Telegram to Delta Chat.
One user has asked for “Mute group chat notifications for 8 hours” feature, this is apparently very important for them.

The option “Mute for 7 days” mutes for a week. There is nothing close to 8 hours.

Seems every messenger has a bit different options and a bit different input every time.
1 and 2 hours are indeed to close.
we can switch the “2 hours” option to “8 hours” (in general, we want to have options for reasonable usecases, not just a lot options)
ftr, signal has “1 hour, 8 hours, 1 day, 1 week, always”, whatsapp has “8 hours, 1 week, always”

we added the option at add mute option for 8 hours by r10s · Pull Request #3678 · deltachat/deltachat-android · GitHub , iOS and desktop will follow
