Expected behavior

Notification sound when new message arrives.

Actual behavior

No notification sound when new message arrives. Every now an then I get a notification sound. No obvious pattern, mostly the next message after checking the notification settings. A notification is displayed for every message, but no sound. Same with in chat sounds. No in chat sounds.

As far as I was able to test this my other Samsung devices (S24, Tab 9 FE) are not affected.

Steps to reproduce the problem

Well, receive a message :slight_smile:

Notifications are allowed for the app an the background service. Notifications sounds are set. Notification volume is set and app specific volume is set.

In the logs I see

Maybe this is telling, but I don’t know much about Android notifications.

Wiping the cache partition fixed this.

Sadly not … I worked for a short period but now: no sound again … any suggestions ?
