Project home git hub migration alternatives

Possibly an interesting development: https://sourcehut.org/ even features a mailinglist-web-forum.

To point to the most lightweight interface and that the link points to a main instance for production too.

i just found about it and i love all the simplicity!

perfect for command line lovers (which isn’t my case, #mobileonly here).

but…

it’s not yet compatible with delta chat, sadly! :sob:

i would guess probably this is something that needs to be fixed on delta chat more than on their side…

maybe this is sth. for the “E-Mail compatibility” project we’ve just started, see https://github.com/orgs/deltachat/projects/31

(i’ve also fixed the link in the post above, < and > must not go to links, at least this forum has problems with that:)

do you think it’s a good idea if i just ping/bump a couple of issues there? i don’t have much to add other than my bug report, the reference to sourcehut, and “aw, so long working in this and not there yet!”

of course i would throw in a few more relevant ideas around each topic, but still i wonder…

not sure what exactly you mean with ping/bump, however, yes, just go forward

for one, i’m always afraid of necroposting backslash. a lot of people fear it for reasons that goes way beyond me. i was just discussing this with drew, from the wonderful sourcehut. (oddly, he preferred to talk about this, rather than possible future awesome projects collaboration with ahoxus uproot)

but mainly, i’m really just not sure i can add any value there.

i’ll take a few days to breath and go forward then.
