The list of webxdc apps in the app picker is not updated when you open the app picker and there is no button to update/refresh the list. The updated list of webxdc apps is only shown after closing and reopening the app picker, which is not very intuitive. There should be a more intuitive way to refresh the list of webxdc apps in the app picker.

, the Xstore has an update button. Unfortunately, it’s a bit hidden and you have to scroll all the way down to see it. But meanwhile, the Xstore is not so important anymore, because you can send an app directly in the chat via app picker.
Hi @Raiden, thanks for this information. I didn’t know this. But it seems actually the app picker does not have an update button and it doesn’t display the new/updated apps unless you reopen it, unless there is a hidden update button that I can’t see, so I’ve updated this topic for clarity.
the following is about the new in-app app-picker, not about the old store bot
the solution is not a “refresh” button, cluttering UI and UX, resulting in in ppl always hitting the button, believing it is not updated automatically.
instead, the update should be shown immediately, maybe even easier to implement.
some background: for pragmatic reasons - resources, money, please donate 
- the update is delayed until the next opening of the picker, which is not great, but also not a big thing for most users but the app developers themselves (avg user does not known when exactly a thing is updated, even in the “big” stores, this is sometimes rolled out slowly)
