Expected behavior

I can change the wallpaper for each chat separately.

Real behavior

I can only change the wallpaper for all chats at once.

In case we don’t want to expose a UI setting for this, we can support this use case with custom themes at least. For example, we could add a CSS class with the idea of the chat to the body / :root HTML element.

That would be great. I think it should also be possible to select a separate wallpaper for dark and light modes.

Separate wallpaper for encrypted and unencrypted would be a useful feature.

Backgrounds that are account specific would also be nice.

Some Messengers (telegram for example) have chat backgrounds that are shared with other users (similar to group avatar in some sense).

There are so many possibilities/ideas..

In DC-Android it is already possible to use a separate wallpaper for each profile.
