Is it possible to parse DC app DB, get pubkeys of contacts, insert generated avatars to DB?

you could insert your own avatars somehow, at-least there once was an option to display the avatars of the system contact book on android, but I don’t know if there is an API for that. The db is a sqlite database and the avatars are stored next to the db in the blobs folder.

Maybe there is a way to implement custom avatars without even touching app and core code, at least on desktop.

And i’t s always better to convince someone if you have working prototype solution.
