“System messages” (when you remove/add someone from a group, or when you leave a group) doesn’t show the “sending icon” you can see in normal messages you send, since these operations are just emails you must deliver, the state of the operation should be visible, once the message is sent the “sending icon” could be hidden instead of showing a check-mark, but IMHO the operation state should be visible, at least I quite often find my self needing to know if the message was actually sent and having to use the “info icon” which is a bit too much work (also sometimes you can check by going back to the chat list but if other messages are received in that group this trick doesn’t work)
