So, is it webxdc, WebXDC or Webxdc?

From what I understand, the webxdc.org site is styled such that everything is lowercase.

But, if you look at the docs, you sometimes notice it capitalized. And in the header it’s capitalized as well (“Webxdc”).

window.webxdc is, again, lowercase.

On Delta Chat · GitHub it’s lowercase.

In our blog it’s sometimes “WebXDC” (WebXDC apps can now exchange data and run on other messengers! - Delta Chat) and sometimes “webxdc” (Delta Chat introduces realtime Peer-to-Peer networking - Delta Chat).

wEbxDc is getting some traction outside Delta Chat, so perhaps it’s time to decide?
OTOH keeping it a funny quirk is also an option.

WebXDC looks the best to me, but what does it mean “XDC” anyway ?

The name came originally from “Web x Delta Chat”.
But for users we just call in mini apps.
We could even attempt to find a better name or just keep it as it is, I personally don’t really have an opinion on it.

Seems easier to replace with “Webxdc” everywhere. WebXDC maybe looks nicer, but “XDC” does not have any meaning as it is also supported in XMPP clients rather than only Delta Chat.

And changing the name is difficult because we already have a domain, .xdc extension is used etc.

Hmm, how about changing the meaning to Web X De-Centrailization?
