It would be nice, if there was an option to hide picture or video with some sort of order. For example:

• sender check “hide with spoiler” option
• receiver sees attachment hidden with blur or placeholder and a button “press to show”
• receiver taps the button and attachment is shown

I agree that is a nice feature, I even suggested a workaround for developers of webxdc apps:

A “content warning” app to provide a simple clickthrough feature for sensitive content as a workaround until Delta Chat includes this as a native feature as requested here. The app can simply let the person who shares the app enter some text or upload some image or video and display this to everyone who opens the app.

How about sending your image using the existing image album webxdc as an alternative? That would similarly require a click to open.
