When I install DC before login I noticed the option “scan QR code”.

How can I use it ?

you can use it for a account setup qr-code provided by an mailadm to setup an temporary/burner account.

This is sometimes used by us on public meetings where we want to give people an super easy way to get an account that they can immediately use to try DeltaChat.

I am still waiting for a way to log in to my account without using mailadm’s QR code, so that I can generate QR codes more freely (including non-standard SMTP / IMAP ports).
