I’m using Delta.Chat everywhere I can. Mostly on my Smartphone, but also on my Tablet. The only thing I wish for wide displays, like on the tablet is a two pane layout, like Telegram or Threema has.
On the left side the list of active chats and on the bottom a button to start a new chat and on the right side the selected chat.

makes sense to me – i guess it would be similar to the desktop layout then. Not sure however how easy it is to adopt for Android or iOS.
yip, makes sense, and will probably come sooner or later. however, compared with other things, this does not have the highest priority - unless some volunteer picks exactly this issue and pushes it forward
