is stickersbot still the recommended way to install stickers?
If so, is there a public bot running somewhere?
I could not get it to run and there do not seem to be recent posts about stickers on the forum.
I know this may sound a bit trivial to some, but it’s really a feature I absolutely need to get several of my relatives to use a IM app and it’s the main reason I’m still stuck with Signal at the moment.
Also if there some information about future plans for improved support anywhere, I would be interested; the only thing I found was this conversation.

There is a working sticker bot.
On Desktop you can use “Add to Sticker Collection” to save the sticker. On Android you will have to use a keyboard like EweSticker | F-Droid - Free and Open Source Android App Repository because there is no sticker picker.

That seems to work well on desktop, with an integrated sticker picker.
If I understand correctly, this feature is not planned on Android and stickers are not shared between devices?
Unfortunately, a dedicated keyboard sets the entry level a bit high for non-technical people…
