Use contacts in new created accounts which are already available in other Delta Chat accounts.
Contacts already used in other accounts are not visible in new accounts and Delta Chat does not read the public key of this already known contact.
Instead the following error message is shown:
“nine.testrun.org verlangt eine Ende-zu-Ende-Verschlüsselung, die für diesen Chat noch nicht hergestellt wurde. …”
You can export the contact as vCard together with the public key and then import it. Maybe there should be explict action to share the contact between accounts, also together with the guaranteed encryption status.
I don’t think however that this should be automatic, sometimes compartmentalization of accounts is good for security even though you better use actually separate delta chat setups for this.
I have not found where I can export and import contacts as vCard in Delta Chat. There is one feature to import “System-Adressbuch”. But this might not include the public key.
you can send them as attachments to saved messages one by one to export them.
I have still another problem: My old domain I use does not work with chatmail servers because chatmail server need DKIM but 1und1 does not use it for these old domains. They send the mails via “kundenserver.de” with DKIM = none. So I have to find another solution for my domain.
