Expected behavior
When I add a new contact, I expect I can attach it to another contact as told here
Actual behavior
When I add a new contact, and I try to attach it to another contact, usually it does not appear among the contacts available to be attached at the beginning.
Steps to reproduce the problem
- Add a new contact
- Immediately after 1., go to another contact, go to the Attachment Button → Contact, and look for the new contact
Summary
First, I thought that until the new contact send me something (a message, a reaction…, any interaction with me) I would not be able to attach it to another contact.
But then, after adding another contact and without any interaction from the previous, I found I could attach the previous, but not the last. So my second hypothesis was that I was able to attach all the contacts except the last added, and I was going to post that as a bug.
But, then, without adding any new contact, after some time I saw I was able to attach all the contacts including the last one. (my third hypothesis is that the new contact must at least to enter in the app, may be that?)
So, my question is why a new contact cannot be attached immediately to another one, and what is necessary to be able to do it, what does it happen to allow it?
