Why doesn't DeltaChat promoters write a link, under QR codes, on chat relay channels websites?

Expected behavior

Visible links that can be copy pasted, under QR codes on dcaccount creation pages.

Actual behavior

No visible link under QR codes on dcaccount creation pages, even if clickable.

You should be able to right click then copy link address on the Get a chatsecure.ch chat profile to get the destination of the QR code.

If privacy is what you seek, then links need to be visible under the QR code, as browsers sometimes mishandle imbedded links.

It used to be a huge problem for Firefox, and if one is running an older version of Firefox, they can have a problem.

  1. I have never seen a web browser whose copy link address feature was broken.
  2. You should not browser the Internet with an outdated web browser if you care about privacy & security at all, as they are full of 0-day vulnerabilities.
