Hello everyone. Recently, I wanted to send a movie that I really liked to my friend. I remembered a message created by my device at startup, which said that I could send a message without encryption, and I wanted to use that option since it would obviously be much faster considering how big the file is (572 MB). But when I tried to do it, it turned out that the “New E-Mail” function works like a group chat, but for some reason I can’t add anyone to it. I would like this to be fixed, or at least for someone to tell me what I’m doing wrong.

You have to add people by typing their email there.
Perhaps they should be already present there, as long as we know that they can receive unencrypted emails, but IDK, maybe there is a reason this is not the case.
Now, onto the “offtopic” issues:
No, I don’t think there is a reason for it to be much faster. Encryption is pretty fast, sometimes faster than SSDs. The bottleneck is the network.
Email servers don’t support such big files usually. With Delta Chat you can try various “file sender” WebXDC apps:
Thanks for the reply and advice. My final question is: will it be possible to send large data in the app in the future, at least those smaller than 2GB?
